Since its inception in 2006, when the IWA SG on Water and Wastewater in Ancient Civilizations was established, this IWA International Symposium has been held successfully for four times as follows:

(b) 2nd IWA International Symposium on Water and Wastewater Technologies in Ancient Civilizations, May 28-30, 2009, Bari, Italy
(c) 3rd IWA International Symposium on Water and Wastewater Technologies in Ancient Civilizations, April, 22-25, 2012, Istanbul, Turkey.
(d) 4th IWA International Symposium on Water and Wastewater Technologies in Ancient Civilizations, September 17-19, 2016 in Coimbra, Portugal.
