Under the supervision of The Central Bank of Jordan, It is our great pleasure at The Center of Consultation and Training – the University of Jordan and The Integrated Development Academy for training and consultations (IDA) to invite you to participate in The International Conference “Banking Information Security and Protection-Prospects and Challenges” (BISP) which will be heldin Amman from 19 to 21 July 2020. Due to the recent vast advancement in the information technology sector, it has become clearly evident that IT is an essential tool for development and advancement in both the governmental and privet sectors in general and in the financial and banking sectors in particular. As a result, information security and protection is clearly becoming the most important factor in order to achieve the hoped-for results of social and economic development. The first conference on BISP will shed the light on a very important issue, as the conference papers will discuss banking information protection and confidentiality and will highlight its effects on the performance of the banking sector, especially regarding customer privacy. We hope that this conference will reach conclusions and recommendations that can benefit officials in the legislative and regulatory authorities of banks, the financial and technological institutions, and the relevant authorities in charge of the development of banking information protection systems.
