The 1st Climate Change and Health in the Arab Region: Advancing Regional Interdisciplinary Collaborations (CCHAR)

July 7-8, 2025

Two NIH-funded centers, the GeoHealth Hub on Climate Change and Health in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the Global Center for Climate, Water, Energy, and Food Nexus (GC3WEFH), are hosting this conference with the goal of exploring regional adaptation strategies in climate and health and gain Insights on policy development, capacity building and education, water scarcity, renewable energy, and other initiatives as they relate to health.

The 10th  International Conference on Ethics in the Middle East and North Africa Region (ICE-MENA): Climate, Environmental Justice, and Health Equity.

The International Conference on Ethics in the Middle East and North Africa has been ongoing for 10 years with support from the Research Ethics Education Program in Jordan that is funded by the US National Institute for Health Fogarty International Center. The past conferences covered controversial ethical challenges in research and practice that were led by international leaders in the fields of ethics, science, and health.
