Announcement of an Upcoming Special Issue

Topic: Methods of Mathematics and Fractional Calculus

This call is an invitation to contribute to a Special Issue of the Mathematical Models and Methods in the Applied Sciences Journal on the topic of Methods of Mathematics and Fractional Calculus. In addition to invited contributions, this special issue will include selected quality full papers from the International Conference on Fractional Differentiation and its Applications (ICFDA’18). ICFDA’18 is a refereed conference emphasising on different topics of fractional calculus related to mathematical sciences. This special issue will focus on the development of fractional calculus from theoretical and numerical perspectives involving different applied sciences. We believe that the Mathematical Models and Methods in the Applied Sciences journal is one of the most appropriate outlets for the publication of research related with this topic and both original research works and review articles are called for this special journal issue.

Manuscript Submission and Referring Process

Submitted papers must be original and should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All contributing authors from ICFDA’18 that are of interest within this special issue theme are invited to submit a full paper version of their short paper accepted and presented during ICFDA’18.

The papers should be prepared in keeping with the Instructions for Authors provided on the Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences homepage:

https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/mma

Authors must specify the paper selection during their submission for ‘‘Special Issue: MMFC2018’’ and select the article type, when prompted, SI: MMFC2018.

All submissions will be managed by the Guest Editors and fully refereed according to the high standards of Mathematical Models and Methods in the Applied Sciences. Accepted papers will be published online with DOI directly after acceptance. The printed issue will be published upon accumulation of a sufficient number of accepted papers.

Please direct any general questions about this special issue or any administrative matters to the Guest Editor, Dia Zeidan (dia.zeidan@gju.edu.jo).
